Zidane makes peace with Materazzi in Milan
Former French captain Zinedine Zidane has found time and met up with Italy's Marco Materazzi in a Milan hotel yesterday evening and buried the issues the two had between them since the Berlin World Cup final four years ago. According to Spanish football magazine Marca.com Zidane and Materazzzi embraced each other and laughed together.
Zidane was in Milan accompanying Mourinho's Real Madrid that drew 2-2 against AC Milan.
Zidane was sent off during the World Cup Final match won by Italy on penalties in 2006. He recieved a red card for headbutting Marco Materazzi, practically ending his distinguished career in shame.
