Management Culture – as it is practiced in VivaCell-MTS
VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian delivered a lecture on management culture for students of the European Regional Academy
November 10, 2010, Yerevan, Armenia – VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC, informs that the General Manager of the Company presented to the students of the European Regional Academy (ERIICTA) the concept of management culture – the way it is practiced in VivaCell-MTS.
The lecture was attended by 40 Master’s students from Management, IT and Law faculties of the Academy. The students were excited to have a chance to hear about the experience of VivaCell-MTS on peculiarities of management and directed various questions to its General Manager.

You need to know that you hold the key to the future of this Nation and you will be shaping it. VivaCell-MTS will put in the palm of your hands its years of expertise into management to lead and endorse your steps”, noted VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.
“Most of you will undertake responsible positions in the future; however you must remember that success depends not only on knowledge, but also on the way you establish your team relations and your communication skills. At VivaCell-MTS we have found the core values which lay at the heart of our daily activities: respect, transparency, quality, teamwork, loyalty and ownership – this is what is practiced unconditionally at all levels of our Company”, added Yirikian.
This was the second visit of Mr. Yirikian to the Academy as a guest lecturer in the frames of the Company’s Career Development Project. In 2009 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between VivaCell-MTS and ERIICTA due to which 5 students of the Academy passed their internship at VivaCell-MTS, more than 15 students participated in VivaCell-MTS School sessions, and 2 Guest Lectures were delivered by VivaCell-MTS employees.
During the 1.5 years of the Career Development project about 54 lectures for more than 4030 students were delivered by the General Manager of VivaCell-MTS, Memoranda of Cooperation were signed with about 30 higher educational institutions, 19 Open Door Days were organized for more than 380 students and schoolchildren from Yerevan and the regions, 4 VivaCell-MTS School sessions were held in the premises of the Company, 147 students were hosted for internship in VivaCell-MTS respective units, and much more activities were organized for students.
