Aronian and Mamedyarov share 1-2 places
In the sixth round of Tal Memorial held in Moscow, Armenian GM Levon Aronian ended his set with the outsider of the tournament Aleksey Shirov in draw. Aronian scored 4 points and leads the tournament. But Aronian is not the only leader of the tournament since Azerbaijani Shahriyar Mamedyarov defeated Pavel Eljanov and scored equal points with Aronian.
Sergey Karjakin ended in draw with Alexander Grishchuk, Nakamura with Hao, Gelfand with Kramnik.
After the sixth round four chess players have 3,5 points in their accounts – Karjakin, Grishchuk, Nakamura and Hao; Kramnik has 3, Gelfand 2 and Eljani and Shirov- 1,5.
