Erdogan: Armenian community of Turkey is our wealth
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan talked to Ara Gochunyan, the editor-in-chief of “Times” paper published in Turkey since 1908. Turkish PM spoke about the Armenian community to Turkey: “I think, Armenian community to Turkey is our wealth. I’m happy to see the efforts of Armenians living in Turkey towards keeping peace and tranquility.”
Turkish “Hurriyet” daily writes, PM stated Turkey isn’t foe to any country, and that they can have good ties with Armenia. “Leaving the history to the historians and intellectuals, we could create the future together. I still believe we can do it. It’s a petty a part of Armenian Diaspora doesn’t think so which in fact hinders the process.”
