“Reporters without borders”, “Article 19”, Committee on defending reporters’ rights released a statement condemning Azerbaijani authorities over ignoring the implementation of European Court of Human Rights decision to release reporter Eynula Fatulayev, “Turan” agency reported.

“Azerbaijan’s Supreme Court decision to satisfy ECHR decision, according to “Reporters without borders” organization is little advancement but still too far from meeting the justice. Fatulayev will be imprisoned till 2013, while ECHR called the local authorities to her soonest release.”

The international organizations encourage Azerbaijan to implement its duties towards Council of Europe.
