Ahmadinejad approves his disposition over NK conflict
President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is currently paying official visit to Azerbaijan gave interview on Monday to an Azerbaijani TV company. Media remarks tell that Ahmadinejad referred to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict negotiations and said that the conflict resolution is possible through negotiations in the atmosphere of justice and mutual trust.
“Peoples sharing the same region should live in peace and friendly atmosphere. We are neighbor and can’t reject that fact. If we endeavor the settlement of conflicts in justified and relative atmosphere, everything will be overcome,” Iranian President said adding that conflicts cause damage to all sides.
“Conflict is a reason of tensed resources, waste of time which prevents the development. We have declared and declare now that Iran is ready to support the negotiations towards the conflict resolution,” Iranian President said.
“We’ve made the first steps. If no remarks are made, we’ll make another step. We think regional conflicts should be solved within the region. The interference of others may make it worse,” Ahmadinejad said.
