Hurriyet. Gul-Obama meeting
Abdullah Gul of Turkey talked to reporters while flying back from NATO Lisbon summit. Turkish President expressed contentment towards the summit.
Turkish “Hurriyet” daily reports Gul as saying about his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama: “We have discussed with President Obama obstacles against Turkey, particular pilot-less jets and super cobras. We have highlighted Ankara lacking its U.S. Ambassador still. We got appreciations over Iraq issue. Referring to Iran, they try to understand it. I ensured Turkey will do everything in this respect.”
