Abdullah Gul: Israel lost relations with Turkish people
President of Turkey Abdullah Gul had interview with “Euronews” Turkish service director Ali Ihsan Aydin, which is supposed to be broadcast in 10 languages today in the evening, Turkish “Anadolu” news agency reported.
The focus of the interview was Ankara’s foreign politics, particularly, European Union, Israel and Iran. To the question if Israel has lost ties with Turkey, Gul answered: “Surely, I mean they lost Turkey’s and Turkish people’s relations.” Gul said they would never forget those bloody sea incidents and Israeli armed forces behavior.
Referring to Iranian conflict, Turkish President underscored Turkey is long to settle the conflicts through peace between Iran and the West. Otherwise war is threatened to appear with the worst consequences.
