Vanes Martirosyan: Dzinziruk must prove he’s real champion
It is no secret that undefeated junior middleweight sensation Vanes "The Nightmare" Martirosyan has been clamoring for a big fight. In the last couple of years, the Armenian fighter has called out all of the big names in his division and in particular, WBO champion Sergiy Dzinziruk.
The undefeated champion has fought just once since bringing his career to the United States. Martirosyan understands that Dzinziruk had issues with his promoter and has since changed promoters but doesn't understand the champion's inactivity since he arrived in the U.S.A.
"I thought he came to the states to get fights? I have been calling his name for a long time and the question is, are you ever going to fight me and prove to the world that you are a real champion and not just a champion made overseas?," the Glendale, CA based fighter stated.
