“Eurovision 2011”: song for Emmy to be selected in televised show
Art Council of the Armenian Public Television approved earlier Armenian singer Emmy to be the representative of Armenia to “Eurovision 2011”. The council has also defined that the song to that international contest will be selected in a televised show.
According to European broadcasters’ union the song to Eurovision (music and words) should be freshly written and should not be played until 1 October, 2010. The song should not have political and commercial background and should be a positive one. The song should be 3 minutes long, the words either in Armenia or in English.
Applications should be posted till 15 January, 2011.
