Armenians demand $63.9mln compensation for Injirliq military base
Armenian descendents of Armenian Genocide 1915 victims sued Los-Angeles district court against Turkish state and Central and “Ziraat” banks of Turkey demanding a compensation for the lost properties of their grand-grand-parents. Famous American-Armenian lawyer Vardges Egian is the author of the initiative.
“The military base of Injirliq, located in Adana, which is of 49.5hectares and currently is under US use, once belonged to Armenians. Now their descendents demand $63.9mln compensation,” according to Turkish “Anadolu” news agency, lawyer Egian said.
