“A1+” got no broadcast license
In a rating vote of National Committee on TV and Radio, which was launched today, “Yerevan” TV Company was qualified 40 points, by two points more than “ALM”, for broadcast license in the capital city.
The next competition for one frequency was held between “A1+” and “Armnews”. The image of the voting was rather interesting. “A1+” got only two points by Ara Vardanyan, and the rest of the committee voted 0 points.
Soon after the voting the representatives of ALM and “A1+” left the hall. All the competing TV companies were announced winners.
It’s worth reminding that for broadcast license in the country applications were submitted by “Armenia TV”, “Shant”, “Armenia II”, “Multi Media-Center TV”, “Husaber” CJSC and “Ansver” Ltd. For capital broadcast applications were submitted by “A-TV” Ltd, “ALM-Holding”, “Yerevan TV company”, “Dar-21”, “AR”, “Armnews”, “Meltex” Ltd, “Kaym TV company”, “Paradis” Ltd, “First Channel” Ltd, “Shark” Ltd.
