Russia will not leave Armenia if a war blasts: Iranian ex-ambassador to Armenia
Though the level of Azerbaijan’s preparedness has grown, but it doesn’t mean that Armenian armed forces got weakened and if a war blasts, Russia will never leave Armenia alone, former Ambassador of Iran to Armenia Mohammad Farhad Koleyn told “irdiplomasi.ir” web site writes.
“Currently Azerbaijan makes more military statements than earlier. With a new war, some radical politicians, who don’t want to settle NK issue through negotiations, may have certain role in the domestic political life.
If a war starts energy security will be threatened and Azerbaijan will lose its regional role,” Koleyn said.
The Iranian web site referring to a Russian daily writes: “US demands Azerbaijani lands to have access to information from Iran, and to use it if attacking Iran.”
