Davutoglu: Ankara intended to reinforce cooperation with Washington in 2011
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu made his remarks on Ankara’s foreign relations perspectives in 2011 in a televised show by “TRT1” public TV.
According to Turkish FM, in 2011 Turkey will adopt a policy of values and conscience. Davutoglu didn’t exclude the possibility of facing danger over Armenian Genocide recognition issue. He expressed hope that Genocide issue wouldn’t create a wave of panic in Turkish-American relations. Moreover, Ankara is intended to reinforce cooperation with Washington.
Davutoglu underscored his wish to continue normalization process of Armenian-Turkish ties. But stated the significance to settle frozen conflicts like Karabakh issue.
