Mikheil Saakashvili congratulates Armenian Apostolic Church on Christmas
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili congratulated the Armenian Apostolic Church on Christmas, GHN reports.
“I highly appreciate the activities of your Catholicos in providing spiritual support to the compatriots, in developing the two strong Christian nations – Armenians and Georgians,” Saakashvili said visiting an Armenian Church in Tbilisi.
Saakashvili spoke about centuries-old friendly ties between Armenia and Georgia highly assessing the Armenian-Georgian relations.
“The two nations are united by friendship, fraternity, support and joint survival in complicated historical conditions and geopolitical situation. These relations are based not only on the past but on the present and future,” Saakashvili said.
