Armenia host country for “Junior Eurovision 2011”
This year Yerevan will host “Junior Eurovision 2011” international song contest. Gohar Gasparyan, the head of Armenian delegation to “Eurovision 2011” said in a news conference that the contest is scheduled for December 3 in Sport&Concert complex after K. Demirchyan.
“After long negotiations Public TV Company managed to bring this important event to Armenia,” she said.
Aleksan Harutyunyan, the President of Public TV/radio committee said the producer of the contest is a Swedish specialist, and that world wide famous stars will attend the contest. He said that European Broadcasters’ Union will support the contest. “We’ll get enough to have a show which will not yield the previous ones,” he said.
It’s worth reminding that one representative from European Broadcasters’ Union member countries can attend the contest. The participants should be 10-15 years old.
