 The members of Assembly for Armenians of Azerbaijan told the reporters today that they have prepared a letter addressed to the heads of those countries with which Armenia has diplomatic ties calling on them not to visit “Shahids’ Park” when paying visits to Azerbaijan.

“The world should know that in that park martyrs for Azerbaijan’s independence are not buried, those who murdered and massacred Armenians in 1990 are buried there. Azerbaijan wants to prove they are innocent,” Mariam Avagyan, member of the Assembly, said.

A similar letter will be sent to the Deputies of Russian State Duma.
“We hope our message to world leaders will contribute to stop participation in Baku’s fake regime,” she said.

Roman Gyukbandyan, another member of the assembly, said that Baku makes its foreign guests indirect participants to their falsehood making them visit that park.

“We must prove to the world that murderers and killers of Armenians are buried in Shahids’ Park. We must fight to stop that myth of Shahids’ Park,” Roman said.
