“The Edge” not qualified for “Oscar” Academy Awards
“The Edge” by Russian film director Aleksei Uchitel has not been qualified to “Oscar” Academy Awards.
The film was submitted to for the nomination of “Best foreign film” category. Totally, 66 foreign films were submitted, but 9 have been selected (Algeria, Canada, Denmark, Greece, Japan, Mexico, South-African Republic, Spain and Switzerland), and on 25th of January only five films will be qualified to the Academy Awards.
Renowned Armenian actor Armen Djigarkhanyan was portrayed in “The Edge”.
“Oscar” Academy Awards is scheduled for February 27.
