Gul: “Sometimes silent, sometimes visible we continue our work”
President of Turkey Abdullah Gul had a meeting in Strasbourg with the Chairman of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe Mevlut Chavushoglu. Soon after the meeting, the journalists addressed questions to the Turkish President related to Armenian issue. Turkish President said that once Ankara recommended Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan to PACE and that they feel content in this respect.
“Now those countries are PACE members. I believe that the Council of Europe values will be successfully invested in Caucasus region. It’s important not only for the Caucasus but for Europe as well,” according to “Tumgazeteler” Gul said.
Turkish President said they make efforts for stability, security and its reinforcement in the region. “Sometimes silent, sometimes visible we continue our work.”
