R. Muradyan: “A preliminary phase on eve of April 24”
February the 1st has been differentiated by the alarming message sent by a group of Turkish hackers who promised to break 7000 websites.
According to “Ermenihaber.am” news website Turkish hackers who founded a group called “Turkish group of 1923” launched a campaign against the international recognition of Armenian Genocide. It’s reported that the group attacked several international media and state-run official websites, they broke them and posted messages like “Don’t believe Armenians”, “America, you’re the author of the biggest genocide”, etc.
Ruben Muradyan, Security Deputy Director of “Smart-tech” company said it has been first time as a massive campaign kicked off.
“This should be a serious alarm for us, since it is a preliminary phase on the eve of April 24th. This is a lind of political message.”
He said he was informed about the number of the broken websites from“Ermenihaber.am” news website.
Information security expert Tigran Kocharyan said the Turks did a favor to us. “It’s said there is no evil without good. We can cooperate with another 6 thousand partners. If you break a website you make your rival stronger,” Tigran Kocharyan said.
