Azerbaijani military jet crashed failing to land
A military plane Su-25 crashed on Thursday in Azerbaijan while landing. No casualties have been reported. Azerbaijani Defence Ministry spokesman said both crew members have been rescued.
The accident occurred at about 17.00 (local time) in Kurdamir District. As the Su-25 was going to land after a training flight, it failed to lower its landing gear.
According to Azerbaijani media the department for serious crimes at the Republican Prosecutor's Office is working at the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
