David Nalbandian takes on Juan Pablo Brzezicki
David Nalbandian takes on compatriot Juan Pablo Brzezicki in the second round of the Copa Claro in Bueno Aires.
Nalbandian announced at the start of 2011 that he's determined to break back into the higher echelons of the game this year. Currently ranked 20, he shone at the start of the year, making the Auckland final before suffering a couple of setbacks in the second round of the Aussie Open and Santiago.
He won this title back in 2008 and has enjoyed a nice draw through the opening couple of rounds, defeating Potito Starace 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday. Tonight he plays the qualifier Brzezicki who spends most of his time on the challenger circuit.
