Elina Danielian defeated Marie Sebag and Lilit Mkrtchian ended in draw with Pia Kramling
The last tournament of Women’s Grand Prix kicked off in the capital city of Qatar – Doha. In the first round Elina Danielyan defeated Mary Sebag with the blacks and Lilit Mkrtchian ended in draw with Pia Kramling.
The other sets also ended with victories and defeats. Nana Dzagidze defeated Hampi Coneru, Martha Fiero – Zhu Chen, Xu Yuhua – Antoinette Stefanova, Batkhuyag Munguntuul – Maya Chiburdanidze.
After the first round five chess players including Elina Danielian have been established in top five. Pia Kramling and Lilit Mkrtchian share 6-7 horizontals.
Today, in the second round Elina Danielian will play against Maya Chiburdanidze with the whites and Lilit Mkrtchian against Antoinette Stefanova.
