 In the third round of FIDE Women’s Grand Prix Armenian GM Elina Danielian defeated with the blacks Bathhuiag Munguntuul and solely chairs the ranking table. Lilith Mkrtchian ended in draw with Marie Sebag and closes the ranking table with four other chess players.

In the same round Martha Fierro defeated Nana Dzagnidze, Zhu Chen – Antoinette Stefanova, Maya Chiburdanidze – Xu Yuhua. Pia Kramling ended in draw with Hampi Koneru.

After the third round Dzagnidze and Fierro scored 2 points and share 2-3 horizontals. Hampi, Koneru, Sebag Chen and Kramling share 4-7 places.
