Nishanyan donated his properties to “Nesin” foundation
“Ermenihaber.am” news website informs that renowned Armenian intellectual and linguist from Polis, columnist for “Taraf” daily Sevan Nishanyan donated his hotels to “Nesin” foundation.
Talking to the journalists, Nishanyan said that those buildings were not his properties. “They belong to people. I had the idea of donation long ago. Recent events have simply reinforced the implementation of my thoughts.”
To the question if the donation would contribute to cancel the demolishment decision of the government, Nishanyan said that in both cases they didn’t have the right to destroy the buildings.
