Elina Danielian leads FIDE Women’s Grand Prix

 FIDE Women’s “Grand Prix” continues in the capital of Qatar. In the seventh round Armenian GM Elina Danielian defeated Zhu Chen, scored 6,5 points and solely leads the tournament. Marie Sebag defeated Pia Cramling, scored 5 and occupies the second horizontal.

Another Armenian chess player Lilit Mkrtchian defeated Xu Yuhua, scored 3 and shares 7th-8th horizontals with Martha Fierro.

In the seventh round Nana Dzagnidze defeated Antoinette Stefanova, Maya Chiburdanidze – Martha Fierro, Hampi Coneru – Batkhuyag Munguntuul.


Today, in the 8th round Elina Danielian will play with Coneru and Lilit Mkrtchian with Dzagnidze.
