Unbeaten Vanes Martirosyan will have two bouts in spring
Unbeaten junior middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan will face hard-hitting Bladimir Hernandez in a 10 round bout at the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on March 19th. The bout will take place on the under card of the Lucian Bute-Brian Magee fight, confirmed longtime Top Rank matchmaker Bruce Trampler to Fightnews.com.
Martirosyan, from Glendale, CA, has not fought since June, when he pounded out a 10 round unanimous decision victory over Joe Greene at the new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY. He has had proposed fights that have fallen through in recent months and is now managed by Steven Feder.
If all goes well in March, Martirosyan will return immediately the following month to face hard-hitting Mexican Saul Roman on April 23rd at the WinStar Casino in Thackerville, OK.
