American Armenians demand from US Central Bank to release their property list
A group of American Armenians have claimed to the court demanding from the US Central Bank to release the list of jewelry and properties that Armenians had been deprived by the Turkish authorities during the years of Armenian genocide, “Gazeteport” news website writes.
The Armenians have requested the US Central Bank to release the list about their properties based on the right to get information.
It’s believed that the Turkish authorities have submitted $8.130.000 in 1915 to German “Reichs” bank, and during the World War First those millions have passed to US and to ally countries.
