FIDE Grand Prix: Elina Danielian – 2nd and Lilit Mkrtchian – 9th

 FIDE Grand Prix finished in the capital of Qatar. In the eleventh round Armenian GM Elina Danielian shared point with Antoinette Stefanova and occupied the second horizontal having scored 8 points.

The champion of the tournament has become Hampi Coneru, who defeated Zhu Chen in the final round.

Lilit Mkrtchian ended in draw with Martha Fierro. Nana Dzagnidze also ended in draw with Maya Chiburdanidze. Munguntuul defeated Marie Sebag, Zu Yuhua – Pia Cramling.

The top three has been closed by Marie Sebag. Cramling, Chiburdanidze and Dzagnidze have scored 5,5 and shared 4-6 horizontals. Yuhua and Munguntuul both have scored 5. Lilit Mkrtchian and Martha Fierro have 4,5 in their active. Stefanova occupied the eleventh horizontal and Zhu Chen appeared to be the last one.
