For a long time the ANC was not able to regain the Liberty Square, and Raffi Hovannisian regained it by the hunger strike yesterday, the daily "Hayots Ashkharh" writes.
“Can the "unexpected" move of the Heritage leader be considered unintentional especially before the rally of the ANC to be held on March 17? It is not excluded that this secret operation was developed in the ANC office, which Heritage party agreed to participate in. It was decided that the main actor of the operation will be Raffi Hovannisian, thus the latter throw himself forward even by "the cost of hardship" to fulfill Ter-Petrossian's instructions.

On the last days the representatives of the ANC did not even hide their intentions, namely the fact that the decisions of municipality will no longer be taken into account and they will enter the Square. The "technical side of the issue was left to be clarified, that is, how and in what manner they can implement it? Thus the way was found. Raffi Hovannisian was to announce a hunger strike choosing the square as a place for holding it, people were to go there in groups for seeing him and ... it was possible that the crowd gathered there would not leave the Square for hours, then it would be possible to start the ANC rally even earlier than March 17. It depended on how many people would gather in the square to “support” the hunger-striker and how quick the Square would be filled.

So that, the Heritage leader that has declared a hunger strike acts exactly in the frameworks of the operation developed by the ANC. We have just to wait until the ANC activists start smashing the wagons and merry-go-rounds placed in the square for children. We can imagine how will end the "fast of freedom" hunger strike, the implementer of which by his own will agreed to be used as a tool for the ANC leader once again".
