Undefeated Vanes Martirosyan will face Bladimir Hernández
Undefeated junior middleweight champion Vanes "The Nightmare" Martirosyan landed in Montreal, Canada, earlier this evening. The 2004 U.S. Olympian is set to face Bladimir Hernández on Saturday in a fight that is part of the Lucian Bute versus Brian Magee undercard at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Martirosyan has been out of the ring since June of last year and can't wait to step back inside the squared circle, "It's been a long time coming and I can't wait to get back in the ring. On Saturday I am looking to make a statement”.
Following this fight Martirosyan will return to the ring on April 23rd versus Saul Roman for the W.B.C. junior middleweight silver belt. With a win there, the Armenian fighter hopes to land a fight versus one of the major players in the division.
