 In the ninth round of “Amber” tournament Armenian GM Levon Aronyan defeated in the blindfold world former champion Vladimir Kramnik, and in the rapid chess shared points with him. Armenian GM leads the blindfold having scored 7 points, and occupies the second horizontal in the rapid chess having scored 6 points.

Levon Aronyan leads the ranking table. He has 13 points on his account. Magnus Carlsen follows him with 12 points and Anand, Ivanchuk and Grishchuk share 3-5 places having 9,5 points on their actives.
