Micheline Calmy-Rey: Switzerland keeps close eye on Nagorno Karabakh conflict
Swiss President and Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey was hosted by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan.
The sides discussed the South Caucasus problems, particularly, the current phase of peaceful negotiations on the Nagorno Karabakh settlement, stressing that the conflict must be settled exclusively through peaceful means.
Micheline Calmy-Rey noted that Switzerland keeps a close eye on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and supports OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts towards the resolution of the conflict.
Edward Nalbandian reiterated his thanks to Switzerland for the mediation efforts in the Armenian-Turkish normalization process, MFA press office said.
