G. Melikyan: Why Cavusoglu makes him an official of civil aviation
“I cannot understand why Cavusoglu makes him an official of civil aviation and appears with strange recommendations,” Republican MP Gagik Melikyan told Panorama.am making remarks on PACE President Cavusoglu’s statement that if Azerbaijan wanted the issue of Stepanakert airport could be discussed at PACE summit.
Armenian official said it was unacceptable that the PACE President was intending to interfere in the interior affairs of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, which was beyond the scopes of his official duties.
“Artsakh is an independent state and decides when to built an airport, how to utilize it and how to guarantee its security. To organize international flights there is a special international organization and Cavusoglu’s recommendations are at least strange,” Armenian MP said.
