US Human Rights Report: Armenian government did not commit any politically motivated killings
US State Department released its annual Human Rights Report, where Armenian affaires are being underlined. The report says that the government or its agents did not commit any politically motivated killings. The report marks April 13, Vahan Khalafian’s, a 24-year-old robbery suspect, case.
Another highlights of the report are corruption cases registered in 2010 and measures taken by the government to stop them, casualties in the army and other accidents, which have been reduced compared with 2009 and Land mines placed along the border with Azerbaijan and along the line of contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict continued to cause bodily harm.
