Harutyun Merdinyan – bronze medal holder in European Championship
Harutyun Merdinyan who presented Armenia in European Gymnastics championship, Berlin, demonstrated a outstanding performance.
Occupying the fifth place, Armenian sportsman has been qualified to the semi-finals and fought with other 7 sportsmen for the champion’s title.
Having scored 14,95 Harutyun Merdinyan occupied the third place being awarded a bronze medal. Merdinyan lacked only 0,1 scores to get the silver medal.
Since the post Soviet era, an Armenian sportsman has been awarded the first serious achievement in Gymnastics championship.
