Khoren Gevor disqualified for attacking the referee
On April 9 in Magdeburg, Germany, WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz had a bout with Khoren Gevor.
The bout was hot and the boxers were fighting to get the title. Unfortunately, in the tenth round Khoren Gevor was disqualified.
“Boxingscene.com” writes that during the tenth, it was hard to tell who initiated the tackle from the televised angle, but both fighters went down very hard. The referee blamed Gevor for the foul and issued a disqualification call. Stieglitz suffered a bad cut above the right eye from the incident. After the bout was over, Gevor attacked the referee and was escorted away by security officials.
