ADB Vice-President hosted by Armenian Minister of Transport
Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan received today Asian Development Bank's (ADB) Vice-President Xiaoyu Zhao.
During the meeting, the sides discussed ADB-supported road construction projects, particularly, the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program.
Minister Manuk Vardanyan specified the work done under the ADB Rural Road investment program and the program’s current phase.
The meeting also focused on road management issues, the highway renovation project, the construction of a logistics center at Zvartnots Airport, building necessary infrastructure - a new railway and a road – leading to the airport, Minister’s spokesperson Susan Tonoyan said.
ADB Vice-President Xiaoyu Zhao noted that the bank welcomes any proposal and is ready to support technical and economic substantiation of the North-South Railway.
