The Best of Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Filmhuis Den Haag
From 6-15 May the Netherlands will host Filmhuis Den Haag where “The Best of Golden Apricot International Film Festival” will be presented. Numerous Armenian and international film directors, producers and festival representatives will attend the event.
Films include the award-winning documentary by Arman Yeritsyan and Inna Sahakyan, by Harutyun Khachatryan and by the Russian director Andrei Khrzhanovsky.
A debate devoted to the cinema in the Armenian region will be held on Sunday 8 May, as part of Directors across Borders Platform. Also, the Photo Exhibition "Happy Day ..." by Zaven Khachikyan will be on display during the festival, which depicts both the struggles and the joys of a society in upheaval.
The director of "Golden Apricot" film festival Harutyun Khachatryan, artistic director Susanna Harutyunyan, film makers Suren Babayan and Arman Yeritsyan will attend the festival.
