“Eurovision 2011” international song contest kicks off in Düsseldorf
Tonhalle culture house in Düsseldorf will host today the official opening ceremony of “Eurovision 2011” international song contest, the press service of the contest informs.
Mayor of Düsseldorf Dirk Elbers and the supervisor of “Eurovision 2011” Jogn Ola Sand will greet the representatives of 43 countries. The participants will move to Tonhalle hall walking on a red carpet.
About 1200 journalists have been certified to cover the event. The semi-finals and the final are scheduled on May 10, 12 and 14.
Armenia will be represented in “Eurovision 2011” by singer Emmy, who will perform “Boom-boom” song. Emmy will perform her song on May 10.
