Dr. Jack Kevorkian has been hospitalized
Renowned American Armenian physician and assisted suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian has been hospitalized, “France press” quotes his attorney Mayer Morganroth as saying.
Kevorkian, who will turn 83 next week, is suffering from pneumonia, kidney problems. He was in hospital a couple of weeks ago, and again rushed Wednesday night to William Beaumont Hospital.
"He had a relapse and was feeling weak."
Kevorkian was released from prison in 2007 for second-degree murder on a 10- to 25-year sentence for the 1998 death of Thomas Youk, a patient stricken with Lou Gehrig's disease. Kevorkian is estimated to have assisted in 130 suicides.
