Armenian chess players in Voronezh Festival
Armenian GMs Zaven Andriasyan, Gevorg Harutyunyan, Arthur Gabrielyan, Lilit Galoyan and Neli Aghinyan attend Voronezh festival after Alexander Alyokhin, armchess.am informs.
In the rapid chess Arthur Gabrielyan scored 7 points and occupied the 3rd horizontal. Zaven Andriasyan has also scored the same amount of points and occupied the 4th horizontal. Gevorg Harutyunyan occupied the 5th horizontal with 6,5 points, Lilit Galoyan – the 6th, Nely Aghinyan – the 28th. Totally 87 chess players attended the festival.
In classic chess Zaven Andriasyan defeated Oleg Vastrukhin, Arthur Gabrielyan shared his points with Gorshkov, Lilit Galoyan with Sakhvadze, Nely Aghinyan with Panarin. And Gevorg Harutyunyan was defeated by Khalikov.
