Georgia grants status of legal entity to Armenian Apostolic Church
Georgian Parliament passed a resolution granting religious unions, including Armenian Apostolic Church the status of legal entity in public law, Novosti-Gruzia writes.
Georgia grants status of legal entity to Armenian Apostolic Church, Roman Catholic Church, Muslim, Hudda and Baptist Churches.
“Christian-democratic” faction, which voted against the resolution said Georgian church doesn’t have the similar status in Armenia and Azerbaijan, and if those states plan to do the same for Georgian church.
