Yerevan to host international tourism conference in autumn 2012
Yerevan will host an international tourism conference in autumn 2012, Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan told a joint press conference with United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Secretary-General Taleb Rifai, adding that the event will be attended by high-ranking officials and heads of international organizations.
According to the Minister, “this is an unprecedented event in Armenia, and we must prepare well for it.”
UNWTO will assist in inviting authoritative organizations and renowned brands to the conference, the official said.
“Currently we work with a number of international hotel networks, and can expect their entrance to Armenia.”
