Athens 2011 Special Olympics: Armenian team returns having won 7 medals
Greek capital Athens hosted from July 25 to July 4 Special Olympic Games 2011. Armenian team consisted of 4 sportsmen, 2 coaches, head of the delegation and assistant head of the delegation were attending Athens 2011 Special Olympics, Armenian Sport and Youth Affairs Ministry informs.
Armenian team appeared with perfect performance winning 2 golden, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Athlete Suren Balasanyan won 1 golden and 1 bronze medals, Tigran Gevorgyan won 1 golden and 1 silver medals in swimming, Nona Aroyan won 1 silver in swimming, Spartak Hakobyan – 1 silver and 2 bronze in athletic.
