Fanni Ardan refused to speak about her Armenian roots – it’s a family secret
“Golden Apricot” the 8th international film festival kicked off on Sunday in Yerevan. Renowned and favorite Fani Ardan hosted the journalists yesterday. The famous actress being shot in more than 50 films, said she liked all her heroes. “I don’t like classifying. Whatever I’ve done, was important. Once-twice a year I come back to the theatre, where the actor’s blood is purified,” Ardan said.
The popular actress was asked to tell about her Armenian roots, which was being much talked about. “What part of me is Armenian is a family secret, and I won’t tell the journalists about it,” refused the actress. At the same time Ardan said she doesn’t signify the nation and the roots, person should be more signified.
