Police committed encroachment against journalists in Nakhijevan
The police officers in Nakhijevan, supported by the local authorities, have made an encroachment against the journalists, Azerbaijani “Turan” news agency informs.
The incident happened in the evening of June 14, when Hakimeldomst Mekhtiev, a representative of the institute for security and freedom of the journalists told the colleagues police and local authorities have suspended electricity in the house and deprived the right of working.
A group of journalists hurried at the place and managed to fix that the electricity pillar near the journalist’s house was being removed. The journalists made some photos of the scene, but the police officers attacked against them and snatched the cameras. Journalist Ilgar Nasibov said he was forced to sit in policeman’s vehicle, where he was grabbed his cell phone and attacked.
