Rupert Murdoch attacked by shaving foam in court
Rupert Murdoch, has been attacked while giving evidence to MPs being charged for the phone-hacking scandal over “The News of the World” magazine. An activist attempted to hit Murdoch in the face with a paper plate covered in shaving foam, “CNN” reports.
It’s reported Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng, who was sitting behind her husband at the culture, media and sport committee hearing, leapt up to defend her husband.
The Guardian writes Jonathan May-Bowles, 26, has been charged with a public order offence. He was bailed to appear before City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday.
