Nora Armani: Money is the obstacle of developing Armenian cinema
French-Armenian actress Nora Armani has finally managed her tour to Armenia – she’s attended “Golden Apricot” film festival. In a meeting with the journalists, today, in Yerevan, the actress said she couldn’t manage her trip in the previous years.
Nora Armani says “Golden Apricot” is among the best festivals in the world, which can compete with any international festival. “I enjoyed the organizational skills, the selection of the films, the variety of the films,” actress said.
The actress says she’s sure money is the obstacle of developing Armenian cinema. There are talented young people, who lack some master classes only. “And here we deal with money, and any master class can be organized.”
“Generally festivals do their best to care culture and to make it famous,” Nora Armani said referring to the “festival of dolma” which is aimed to interest people from Diaspora and to present Armenian culture to the foreigners.
