Strauss-Kahn case closed
On Tuesday the New York State Supreme Court decided to close the criminal case of the ex-head of the IMF Dominique Strauss-Kahn who was accused of sexual assault of the Sofitel Hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo.
The case was closed after the District Attorney’s Office declared that they had lost confidence in the accuser and could not support the prosecution case at the jury trial.
It became obvious that the accuser told too many lies when she was questioned and previously gave US authorities the wrong information when she asked for asylum in the USA, the Voice of Russia said.
